I read somewhere that everybody in this planet is separated by only six other people. six degrees of separation. between us and everybody else on this planet. how every person is a new door, opening up into other worlds. by the way of introduction from any other person, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people.
